点评:Exactly what these other reviews say. Guy was the perfect instructor - warm, completely professional and committed, with incredibly clear instructions. He's committed to being in the sea with his clients - not just instructing from the beach - making all the decisions about which wave we should ride and when to launch us on our boards. We could concentrate just on the surfing.
On a cold and windy day in the middle of March, we knew it wouldn't be easy. In fact, the thickness of the wetsuits, boots, gloves and hats meant - unbelievably - that we skipped into a freezing cold sea with hardly a care. One of us simply felt warm the whole time!
We're two sisters over 60 and we got on fine.
Three small points to remember - you'll need to walk your big board through the dunes to the beach, and back again when you're exhausted! Also, we were at the end of the winter and we simply had to change in the carpark - no facilities were open - and getting out of the wetsuits in the strong wind when feeling freezing was - umm, slightly challenging! Also, we suggest that well before your surfing session, you exercise your (hand) gripping muscles and your biceps and triceps for handling the board - we ached for several days afterwards.
