Beautiful site. Shame about building site opposite

点评：Really well kept site. 3 min walk to canal and 20 mins walk along the canal to pretty town of Garstang. Pitches are really big and well spaced. Toilet and shower block immaculate. All shower cubicles have a toilet and basin in them which is a massive plus. There's a play area and a small fenced off dog walking area.
You pay extra for electric, but only payed £15 for 6 nights .
One gripe, and it's not the sites fault. But there's major building works going on opposite. A new housing estate of over 100 houses.The fully serviced pitches are right next to it . Building site vehicles started arriving shortly after 7 each week day morning and it was very very noisy throughout the day.. and extremely dusty. I wish we would have been pre warned as we would of definitely opted for a non serviced pitch further away from the building site. ( We arrived on a Saturday when no work was being carried out and didn't realise just how much noise would occur during the week) . We will no doubt return but will check on what stage the housing estate build is in first
