Sizzling Wheels Port Douglas Shuttle scammed us!
Booked a shuttle from our accommodation to The Tin Shed for dinner. 5 mins down the road!
What turned up was a disgrace and clearly not legal in Australia.! No seat belts on the back two seats of the van. Like not even fitted there.
The seats were all dirty and marked. The roof looked like it had been vomited on and cleaned but the stains were still there.
Stunk and “Wolfie” the driver scammed us!
He demanded we pay cash even though the eftpos machine was there. Said he would do it for $40 due to being inconvenienced.
We paid the cash and he told us to not ring the number we called before and to ring the number on the back of the card. We had issues getting through to other shuttle companies to book to start with so we thought this would go direct through the company phone lines rather than the multiple calls previously.
Anyway we called the number and thought a new shuttle would come but nope, Wolfie turned up again.
We were told by our accomodation that you pay one way there and get the complimentary ride home. This was not the case. Lucky I took a photo of the A frame at the door of the tin shed!!
So we get back to accommodation and he again demands we pay him $50 now. That he doesn’t know anything about the sign and that we had to pay $50.
One of my party pay whilst I was sorting out my kids so it was too late when I realised what had happened. I am absolutely appalled by his behaviour and can only assume he has pocketed the money. Which corresponds with his behaviour! I went and spoke with the receptionist and she is looking into this and will also not be recommending to other guests!
I will be telling everyone I know not to use this company!
Looking into reviews today and it seems this isn’t the first time he has done this either! Dodgy behaviour!

于是我们回到住处，他再次要求我们现在支付 50 美元。他根本不知道这个标志，我们必须支付 50 美元。
我照顾孩子的时候，我的一个同伴付了钱，所以当我意识到发生了什么时已经太晚了。我对他的行为感到非常震惊，只能假设他把钱装进了自己的口袋。这与他的行为相符！我去找接待员谈了谈，她正在调查此事，也不会推荐给其他客人！
我会告诉我认识的所有人不要使用这家公司！
今天看评论，似乎这也不是他第一次这样做！行为可疑！
