点评:The people in charge of this gorgeous temple does not even understand what being Hindu means. My husbandwho is American was thrown out by some idiotic person because he was white and was wearing a small cross pendant. The guy targeted us from inside the temple, we were in the middle of the line. One of the priest told us to go in and get the blessings of the Perumal, the in charge person defied him saying my husband was not Hindu he is not allowed in... not sure how he defines someone as Hindu or not? We have been married by vedic priest following all Tamil rites. In America, we are very involved in temples, sponsoring pujas and activately participate in Hindu ceremonies. Then this one idiot from tamil Nadu who obviously do not know and understand any of the work of Adishankaracharya has the guts to throw people out of temples. Tamil Nadu govt should review their rule mostly every time you open your purse every one is eyeing and begging how much money you will give them!!! Beware anyone who is not Hindu, do not go to Kanchipuram as you will be disappointed by the locals! NOT WORTH IT... AS A TAMIL I AM THOROUGHLY DISAPOINTED!
