点评：We went today for lunch, as a delayed Mothers Day treat. After a couple of drinks, we ordered off the menu, after asking after the previous items on the menu (having been here many times).
My husband asked about the 5oz steaks, only to be told, they're not available, nor was the belly pork that used to be on the menu......
So, we duly ordered 2 x 8oz rump steaks. For starter, we shared bread, olives, oil & balsamic vinegar. The steak arrived - only to see they were 5oz steaks!!
I asked the waitress, what size these steaks were - 5oz she said. I said, they're not on the menu, we ordered 8oz steaks.
She did offer to have the correct steaks cooked, but, we were not prepared to wait another 15mins. She apologised, said it was her mistake.
Well, that spoilt our whole experience.
We received our bill, and found we had been charged £7 for the starter of bread/olives/oil/balsamic vinegar, when, on the menu, it was priced at £6!!
We were not happy at all. On paying, I brought it to her attention we'd been overcharged......the bill totalled £66.60 - so I said all I was prepared to pay was £60. This was accepted.
All in all, it turned out to be a bad experience - very sad, as we've been many time before ☹️☹️
