点评:The steps up to Sealy Tarn bring out some sweat - not so much a problem in April - and then the fun begins. The path is very rocky with some big steps to get over them, then there is a section with very big rocks to climb over and the end is a rough gravel path up to the lookout which is absolutely georgeous (from the plateau climb over the rocks straight on to the end). You can see Mount Cook and several Glaciers and down to lake Mueller and Hooker lake and the Tasman Valley. We did not go all the way to the hut as we were told the view is not better there. Then the climb down begins and the icing on the cake - the stairs. We did it in 5 hours with a break at Sealy Tarn (the view there is lovely too, actually the view is beautiful all the way) and at the top for about 50 minutes. We were myself 64 (f) and my children 25 - 31. We even saw a Kea. You have to be fit and sure footed to do the whole walk.
