点评：I have visited this club many times over the past 15 years - and sadly watched it slowly going downhill.
What I find most annoying is the way that the managers don't react when things they encounter every single day are so obviously faulty. Take a look at my photos and you'll see what I mean
The gym ceiling has been leaking water onto mains powered machines for nearly TWO YEARS now. It's got so bad that some of the (expensive) machines are actually rusting. Management response - red buckets to catch the dripping water. At times the buckets are full to the brim with water. 240V, mains powered machines with people on them and constantly dripping water - not a great mix.
Then there's the TVs. I know you don't go to the gym to watch TV, but if you're on a machine like a crosstrainer, it's nice to have the option, particularly if there's a big sporting event on. Bannatynes is supposed to be a sports club, but a couple of years ago, they decided to change their subscription from Sky Sports which showed loads of sporting events, to BT Sports, which showed far fewer sports. Why??! Since the change, the quality of the picture is dreadful, often pixellating every few seconds. What's even more embarrassing is that the club often 'showcases' matches etc on the big TV in its cafe area. With the constant pixellation t's a total joke, but yet again, no one seems to be able to get hold of the issue and sort it out.
There are loads of other examples, but the overall theme is the same each time - ineffective management. Someone really needs to get a grip on this place, to take it back to the excellent clib it used to be.
