点评：We visited Rome between Christmas and New Year 2024 and arranged a private tailor-made tour with Andrea. We didn’t have much time, but managed to see the highlights of this great city. He picked us up at the station, to and from the hotel, drove us to the different areas, accompanied us to explain some of the monuments and sometimes he just let us wonder free on our own. He arranged lunch at very typical Roman restaurants and gave us good advice for the dinner. He knows EVERYTHING about Rome. It’s amazing how he knows every church name and construction date of the monuments by heart, as well as all historical events. The cool thing is that we managed to see some areas that are not the most popular ones, but absolutely breath taking. We saw so many things in 2 days by having Andrea as a guide, that would have taken twice the time had we traveled on our own and we would probably had missed some special places.
I needed a German speaking guide and he masters the language perfectly and can switch between languages very easily. I was traveling with people who speak different languages and instead of me having to translate everything, I could sit back and enjoy this great tour. He’s well worth the cost and gives the sightseeing an extra touch by conducting nice conversations.
The van was super comfortable and easy to spot when you got back to the car after having walked around. It was clean spotless and Andrea always had water for us in the vehicle. The service was absolutely fantastic and next time we’re in Rome, we will call him again.
