点评:The Museum is a little challenging to drive to as it is right next to a train track and station with no indication/signs of where to park on the front street. We ended up parking at the train station.
Having said that, once you arrive, children’s attention is immediately caught by the many first floor experiences, moving lights, interactive areas and of course, lots of noise. It’s a little overwhelming. Due to construction on the second floor, they were offering headphones (with picture ID) for children to wear in the area of the construction. We were wishing we had brought some ear plugs LOL!
Some activities are outdoors, and since it was raining, these were wet, not that the children minded!
Activities ranged from toddler-appropriate to older children (ours were 6 and 9) and thoroughly entertained by racing cars, jumping, working with fiber optics and other activities, even if they didn’t get the scientific principles of what they were doing.
The outdoor rooftop area was fun, too. Different telescope perspectives, water play (and dryers!) and large building pieces for the little ones.
We spent a number of hours and the children were entertained racing from one activity to the next or doing one over and over (race cars).
A definite must-do activity for kids, especially if the weather is not beach-friendly.
