点评:If you're going to have super-premium pricing, then your service should be super-premium as well. Unfortunately, customer service seems to be hit-or-miss at Lukas. If you're lucky enough to be helped by Michael James, Ruth Akerman, Jan or Ben, for example, you will be treated to excellent, courteous service by knowledgeable individuals. But some long-time and/or management-level employees, such as Austin Coats and Bri Murray, seem to treat the customer as an afterthought rather the reason for their work. I've shared my concerns with Cecelia Lukas Waldrop, one of the co-owners, and her response was unencouraging -- with her basically saying "I'm sorry you feel this way and understand if you would rather shop at our competitors." I will take her up on that suggestion. After all, every garden center in central Florida carries all of the plants and trees that readily thrive in this region, and at lower price points. However, if you want to go out of your way to pay top prices and get hit-or-miss courtesy and service, Lukas is hard to beat.
