Unexpectedly fascinating

点评：We took a taxi from our resort to the Pepper Farm. Our driver first took us to a restaurant of the same name in another opart of the island so prepare to show the driver on Google Maps where you want to go!
It is not necessary to book in advance to visit the farm. We were given a tour in English with about 6 other independent visitors and it was utterly fascinating. We learned so much about the cultivation and preparation of pepper. The Farm is run organically without pesticides. They use other crops including pineapples, mangos and cinnamon to attract insects away from the pepper. We also saw other fruit and herbs growing. Our guide was very knowledgeable and eager to share his knowledge with visitors.
There was the opportunity to sample pepper and pepper tea and to buy pepper at the end of the tour.
Probably the best thing to do in Phu Quoc away from the beach!
