High quality bike rental shop, great coffee and dedicated staff

点评：The most attentive and high quality bike rental shop and service I've been to. I did my first bikepacking trip for 2 nights in the forest and saw this bike shop pop up on the route on bikepacking.com. I am thinking about buying a bikepacking bike and The Woods Cyclery had a selection of quality brands and types of bikes to choose from.
Additionally, they rent a range of bags (handlebar, saddle, frame etc) from reputable brands such as Restrap and Wizardworks so I could have a fully kitted experience without having to buy a lot of expensive equipment. The online booking process is simple - though it would be good to see in future the bike store and rental bike pages combined, as I only saw the option of renting the bags through the bike store website. I'm told this is in the works.
I got to the shop 1 hour early and my bike was already ready for me. Thanks to Robbie and the team for helping me get settled with the bike and the route. Robbie is a gem and packed my belongings into the bags and gave me advice on how to pack the equipment when I headed off.
They also generously allow you to return the bike at the end of the business day, rather than at the same time it was rented out. It meant that I could have a bit more time exploring, and have a leisurely return back to the shop.
The coffee in the store is indeed, quite good. Loads of local cyclists came through on the weekend as well. There are a lot fo staff on the weekend to assist people, and it also demonstrates how popular the shop is. All the staff had time for a quick, or longer chat and it made a lasting impression of the overall shop and bike scene atmosphere.
110% recommend this shop and also the New Forest Gravel Taster Route (route developed by the shop) which takes you through beautiful and serene parts of New Forest.
