A great marvelous place to spend a weekend at JB
AEON Mall的点评
点评：The popularity of Johor Bahru is tagged to her dynamic and vibrant shopping malls. If you have not visited Mid Valley or KSL or City Square or AEON Tebrau City, you have not visited Johor Bahru. In fact, there are special buses that travel directly to KSL - F100 and AEON Tebrau City (myBAS T14) from JB Sentral.
AEON Tebrau City is famous because it is clustered together with IKEA and Toppen, and thus, the trio cater well to the diversified needs of the shoppers with a wide array of products and services. On my previous trip, I visited IKEA and TOPPEN, but it was during this trip that I found out there is also a LOTUS mall located behind this AEON Mall.
This is my second time here. I followed a 1-day AEON Mall tour organized by EU Holidays. As of today, I have patronized 5 out of the 6 AEON Malls in JB, namely, AEON Bandar Dato Onn; AEON Bukit Indah; AEON Permas Jaya, AEON Tebrau City and AEON Taman Universiti I will be joining another AEON Mall tour in the coming month of May and will visit AEON Kulaijaya. By then, I would have successfully covered all the 6 AEON malls in JB.
The tour came with an AEON gift voucher of RM10 each, and we were eager to spend it off by purchasing some grocery items at the mall. We bought a packet of organic hulled barley for RM13; a big solid pumpkin at RM5.30, and several packets of oats at RM8.40 (1 kg). We spent about an hour at LOTUS mall exploring some cheap grocery items. LOTUS is like our Singapore NTUC FairPrice supermarket lauded for her reasonable fair price.
We also have our dinner at Oriental Kopi. It is always a long queue and crowdy at this restaurant. We managed to secure a seat for the 6 of us and ordered their signature dishes. The curry laksa, hor fun, and prawn noodles were awesome and appetizing.
We were at this mall from 2 pm to 7.45 pm, and we enjoyed the conducive aircon environment, free wifi, and the food at the numerous eateries.
