点评:Part of the UNESCO Heritage Site that is the entire medieval town of Rhodes - the Street of the Knights is one of the preferred walking areas of the old town ... and according some it is the "most intact medieval streets in the world". Truth be told it does have a look at it that you suddenly would expect that a knight in armor would come out on one of the doors ... or that you found yourself in the middle of set where a movie is being shot.
So yes ... it does look great , as it stretches from the Hospital of the Knights ( nowadays the Archeological Museum of Rhodes ) up to the Palace of the Grand Master ... from the Archeological Museum is a climb , if you are coming from the direction of the Grand Master's Palace is going downhill - however don't worry is it a mild ramp so is no real effort to go "up hill".
Overall a very nice experience - some of the auberges ( the "small palaces") along the street hold exhibition that can be visited - for us it was a long day already ( and very hot, so we did not got into any, although those might have been interesting) .... and you can also get accommodation just a few steps from the street , should you feel like enjoying a medieval experience from very close.
Overall a great place to take a stroll, especially for those of you who've got a passion for history... but it is interesting for everybody , at least from my perspective.
