A very underwhelming experience.

点评：I played as part of a large society (c30) today and was very disappointed. We accept that all courses must do maintenance as the seasons change, but around 10 of the greens were temporary, although certainly could not be called temporary greens. They were simply holes cut in unprepared and random areas of the fairway, some in ridiculous positions. The greens that were in play had been hollow tined with the largest holes I have ever seen. The holes had not been sanded so the ball wandered around everywhere and was never able to roll well. To add insult to injury, the winter tees are in very poor condition. In short it felt like a waste of time and money playing there.
The driving range is very old and tired, as were most of the balls. The pro shop is very cramped and has far too much average stock in there for its size. It is also poorly lit, which adds to 'dingy old charity shop' feeling.
The one redeeming feature was the breakfast, which was quite nice and served by friendly and helpful staff.
