The Greenway (Old Railway Footpath)的点评
点评：Until 1966, The Greenway was the railway line from Keswick to Workington and starts at Cockermouth cenotaph, close to where the town's railway station was. There is a photographic display on an old railway bridge showing the old railway, the station and various locamotives that will interest rail enthusiasts and people with an interest in local history.
The path itself offers a good view of Cockermouth, and as it is a former railway line, is fairly flat and easy to walk and cycle on. However, the main problem is the path is rather narrow, the edges are boggy if it rains( better drainage is needed) and dog dirt is a problem. I'd advise people when walking on The Greenway to be careful not to step into mud on the edges and watch out for dog dirt, but otherwise it's a reasonable walk.
