A must see!
门多西诺海岸植物园的点评
点评：I was told by everyone that I told I was going to Ft. Bragg that I had to go to the Botanical Gardens. I had never been to a botanical garden before, and I was indifferent. The friend I was traveling with was in the same boat. Thankfully, since we had heard it from everyone that it was a must see, we decided to give it a try. I was blown away. Granted, at this time of year, not a whole lot was blooming - but we did get to see the begonia house, the rose garden and the dahlias - all were stunning. What blew me away the most was the landscape, especially toward the coast. The 1.4 mile loop is the way to go. The cliff house was a treat, I could imagine hanging out down there on a stormy day. We sat for a while and watched a tug pull a platform across the horizon. We were fortunate with the weather being ideal for this time of year. All in all, if I find myself in that neck of the woods again, I will return.
