Do not go to the Christmas Concert and Gala. This is a complete SCAM. This is advertised as a black tie Gala. IT IS NOT there were people here in street clothes and a woman dressed as a mouse. It was a complete Circus. It is not located in the beautiful room shown in advertisements. You are crammed in a back room with filthy dirty floors almost black with dirt and with so little room that you are hitting elbows with the people next to you the entire dinner with the waitstaff kicking your chair. 80% of the waitstaff appears to be people on work release from prison; not only are they unkempt and unprofessional and covered in in violent inappropriate tattoos but they are also not wearing clean uniforms. There were a few actual professionals like there but the 4 of them stood out completely in stark contrast to the prison work temp hires. There is only one regular menu option and one vegan menu. You can not have any food needs because they won’t accommodate. The food itself was terrible. The lettuce in the appetizer was old and already brown. The dinner was a small, hard, dry piece of meat and a tablespoon of cabbage.
The room is not set the way it is shown in the pictures they completely skipped out on much of the decor in the advertisements.
Unfortunately I was completely SCAMMED; this was supposed to be a once in a lifetime event for my family as we do not usually splurge on these types of events. I made sure everyone was dressed appropriately only to show up and find that it would have been fine to show up in dirty sneakers and pajamas. People don’t go out in public on the street in Vienna dressed the way people were allowed into a Gala event.
I cannot believe I fell for this SCAM it looked so legitimate on their website. But it’s 7 euros worth of mediocre food in a dirty messy room.
You are not in the room that is pictured. There are no decorations or flowers on the stage the stage is not in with the tables, there is no piano at the dinner, just a plug in key board.
I am posting photos of what was advertised followed by what we got. Note the attire shown in the advertisement; between the tickets and the supposedly required black tie apparel we literally spent thousands. I am completely disgusted that we feel for this scam.
