Unpleasant and embarrassing visit.

点评：Sadly I feel that I have to write this review to highlight an extremely unpleasant and embarrassing visit to this theatre. We were a group of seven booked to see ' Anything for love' on Thursday 13th of March. Our main guest was celebrating her 60th birthday, so this was a special treat. After enjoying drinks and a lovely meal, we headed along to the theatre. As we were not the ticket holders, we went to the bar upstairs to wait. The next group, including the birthday girl were in the same boat, however she was greated by a very rude floor supervisor, who announced, in front of all the people queuing, that he was not letting the birthday girl in as she was too drunk, until her ticket arrived?????? She was not even taken aside, and I could see that other guests were apaulled by this supervisor's behaviour . He then announced publically that if any of our party were noisy or sang ( Meat Loaf Songs?????? ), we woulds all be ejected from the theater. The supervisor in question was a gentleman in a suit jacket with ginger hair, who keep referring to the theater as his?? As the theater is owned by Aberdeen Council, I looked up the councillors for arts and culture, he wasn't listed?? I can only assume that he was recently put in the post, and he had not developed ( or been trained) in any customer service or people skills, and was also harboured a revolting attitude. As this incompetence completely spoiled the night for the person celebrating their birthday, I believe a formal complaint is being lodged with Aberdeen council. On a positive note, the show was tremendous, however I would not recommend seeing it at this theatre. Obviously, we will not be back.
