点评：How I miss the old royal Hawaiian luau! The old luau was a PROPER luau, with shared tables and delicious buffet style food including amazing pork and crackling.
The food at the luau now is SHOCKING for the astonishing price you are paying. It is Al carte prepared rubbish food that is bland tasteless and worse than takeout. It is presented well enough but that doesn’t make it taste good! So incredibly disappointing. You get 3 free drinks which are light on the alcohol and are also subpar. Just go and compare the “pina colada” they serve with a real pina colada from the Mai tai bar next door, completely different. The performances and the location are the only things that make this luau worthwhile, which you can easily enjoy from Waikiki beach. And someone who has frequented this luau over the years, this is likely to be my last royal Hawaiian luau unless they make some serious changes. A real shame. Time to look elsewhere.
