A Must-Do Rafting Adventure in Fiji – Beautiful, Fun, and Unforgettable!

点评：We just got back from Fiji and couldn’t wait to share how amazing our white water rafting trip with Rivers Fiji was! This experience was not only exciting and beautiful, but also educational and truly special.
Rivers Fiji is the only company that offers rafting down this particular river because they’ve partnered with the Fijian village that owns the land/river. It’s such a meaningful partnership—the village benefits from sharing their incredible river with others, and it made the whole experience feel even more authentic and respectful.
The scenery was absolutely breathtaking—we counted 77 waterfalls along the way! The only way to see this hidden side of Fiji is with Rivers Fiji, and it felt like we were in a dream. Our guide was fantastic—so knowledgeable and engaging. They shared stories about the local village, the history of the land, and even pointed out different types of trees and plants along the way.
It’s an all-day experience, with a 45-minute (bumpy!) bus ride into the jungle to get to the river. If you’re prone to motion sickness, definitely bring some Dramamine—it worked perfectly for us. The river itself has fun rapids that are exciting but not too extreme. It felt totally safe.
We spent about 6 hours on the water, and the guides prepared a delicious lunch half way through. Each boat had one guide and four guests, which made the experience feel very personal and relaxed. It was a hot day, but the cool river and refreshing dunks under waterfalls kept us comfortable.
We laughed, learned, and loved every minute of this adventure. If you’re visiting Fiji and looking for something truly special (couples, families, friends, kids), we highly recommend Rivers Fiji. This was a highlight of our trip and something we’ll never forget! We told many people about the adventure later on during our trip and they wished that they had known about it because they did not get to see the amazing things we did on this adventure.
