Fun ride for the whole family (with small kids)

点评：Great trail ride for a family of 4 including 2 young kids (3 and 5). We signed up for a private ride so the kids could ride their own horses, and it worked out great with the guide leading their horses on her own horse.
The horses were great and we learned a lot about life on the Big Island during the ride.
The only thing worth noting is that the location has moved versus what’s described in most of the reviews. They moved from Waimea to Waikoloa Village, so the ride is on a pretty straightforward trail (with some rolling hills) behind the village, but it’s not a wide-open meadow as described in some of the earlier reviews where you can just wander around.
It’s still pretty - you have a good view of 4 of the 5 volcanos and we saw wild goats and donkeys, but it’s not big, green rolling pastures.
Definitely recommend if that’s what you’re looking for!
