Top value budget safari
Leeu Tours and Safaris的点评
点评：I arranged this tour online from Canada as a solo traveler. Leeu Tours is categorized as a budget safari, and I would agree, looking at some of the others. However, the quality was superb.
There is a choice between a fairly rough tenting option or a lodge option at about double the price (at 69 years, my tenting days are over!!).
The lodges ranged between 4 and 5 stars; extremely comfortable with great food and wonderful staff!
As the only one of 7 on the safari choosing the "lodge" option, there was a bit of shuffling required morning and night, but it worked smoothly even with the early departures and late arrivals. I was surprised to learn that all of us on this tour had booked with different companies. My communication and individual needs, however, were all looked after by Leeu Tours (Allen). This may not be the case with larger, more expensive tours...
Guide Silva was superb; a very competent driver, knowledgeable of animals and birds, an impressive spotter and so patient.
We saw the Big 5 (Lion, Buffalo, Elephant, Leopard, Black Rhino) well as some rare birds and so much more. The Wildebeast (5 million of them) and Zebra (1 million) were migrating across the plains...soooo cool.
I highly recommend this company to organize your safari!
