Rio Secreto的点评
点评：We did the basic Rio Secreto tour, which included transfer from Cancun, 90 min jungle+cave tour with wetsuit, helmet, towels, life jacket, lockers, water shoes. You wear your own bathing suit or trunks under the wetsuit.
This was the highlight of our trip. The guide was knowledgeable and spoke English well. She made the kids feel comfortable and allowed non swimmer to either hold her or walk on the side with the photographers during the deepest part.
Note that there are 4 different trails so you can decide to go back multiple times and see something slightly different.
The drive from the changing area to the cave entrance was super bumpy. Some kids liked it but I wish they had a paved road. Then the bus to the food was the same. The van/bus back to Cancun was super packed and dropped off at multiple hotels. For each leg of the way, the drivers were different and there were tipping signs everywhere. We had expected this and had a bunch of smaller bills in pesos but I can understand how some may feel a bad taste from that. But this is Mexico, Cancun area. It’s how things are here. All inclusive means still spending hundreds of dollars tipping all week.
We also expected the photography cost and built it in, so we are very happy. We got the entire package of 60 or so photos (20 of them great, not repetitive) for $130. This is a great price for professional photos IF you are expecting it. Think about how much professional photos cost for sessions at home.
