Newport Aquarium的点评
点评：The facility was clean, calming and well laid out :) We loved the staggered/timed entry, it made it much more enjoyable. We took about 2 hours to go through, but I could have stayed in the shark viewing area for hours. Be sure to use the bathroom before you go in as I only found one set of bathrooms above 1/2 way through (past the alligators). The food court was clean and had a decent selection but we were too full to partake-the ice cream nachos looked amazing! The new jellyfish area was cool but smaller than I thought. It was fun to see them at the various stages of growth. The VR ticket ($8) was a cool add on :) My son chose swimming with the whales over the sharks. It was about 5-7 minutes long. Penny press fans, bring $1 bills for the 4 machines (3-4 presses/machine, $1 each).
We drove down from Michigan and think it was worth the trip. The aquarium is surrounded by several restaurants, shops and other entertainment options (Immersive Gamebox, Par 5, AMC theaters) all accessible from the same parking garage. That was a great bonus to not have to drive everywhere.
