点评:Wow. What an amazing part of our Canadian adventure! For reference my partner Sarah is an experienced horse woman. I however, am an aspiring (want to be cowboy). Boy, oh boy, was I given the hard and fast insight into the saddle man's daily driver!
With 20 years since I was last on a horse, Bev and her team welcomed us, got us in the sand school and got us settled with the basics.
Then, we hit the open trail.
Water river crossings, rock scrambles, ducking under tree branches... the 3 hour trail ride had it all.
Starting mellow, the adventure kicked up a gear within the first couple of hundred meters. Having been told by the patient, experienced (and did I mention patient..) guide at the back to raise in my stirrups when the hoofed madam below me decides it's go time, I was hooked!
Sarah could only look back at a glance and hope the grin on my face was that of utter enjoyment, and not that of sheer panic.
I can confirm it was a blast, and I only loved it. As indeed did Sarah with her return to horsemanship, this time in a western saddle style.
Loved it and would recommend! Thank you.
