Children's Museum & Theatre of Maine的点评
点评：On a rainy day we went to the Children's Museum. Note that there is an extra fee to go to the theatre portion. I thought it was a bit pricey because they charged the same price for adults and children. This is not geared towards adults at all. The first floor has a giant play structure for kids to climb on. It was geared for kids 3+, but wouldn't recommend for kids older than 10 or 11 years old because they'd probably get too tall.
The second floor had tons of imaginative play areas. There was a play kitchen, lobster boat, veterinary clinic, fire truck. There was also the makers space where you can build and make different items. This area is only open at different times so make sure to check the times so you don't miss out.
The third floor was the water and light area. They had a really cool section for a giant lite-brite, and other areas to play with different lights. There was also a giant water play area. Make sure to bring extra clothes because you will get wet! There were plastic balls to move around the area and watch as they twirled around the water tornado, plastic boats, and other water play zones.
Overall, this museum was geared for kids ages 3-10 years old. After that kids would probably get too old to truly enjoy being here. The pricing here seems a little off. $18 for adult tickets and kids tickets just felt a little expensive considering there wasn't much for adults to do here.
