Nightmare at Waikoloa village golf

点评：Booked a tee time online after visiting their website. Upon arriving the front desk agent proceeded to check us in confused that we booked online and handed us a hand written note with our information to give to the starter named Chris. We then brought the note to the starter Chris and he responded with, “what’s your name?”and that we weren’t on the list of tee times. He seemed irritable that we interrupted him while he was hitting balls on the range (horrible swing). After finally getting our information to check out a cart we were able to head to the first tee box. Everything was fine up until we got to the back 9 when we noticed our cart was almost dead with barely any battery life left, skipping 6 holes to at least make it to the 18th hole before our cart was going to die. The check in agent came up to us while on the green of the 18th hole and removed the pin while we were putting and said because there was no Marshall we needed to return the cart now because they are short handed and closing up early. I understand that carts needed to be returned by 530pm. There was a huge group in front which slowed down the pace for everyone. It happens, it’s golf. Knowing that you paid to golf a full round and just treating us this way wasn’t what we expected. Seems like they are unorganized and need to get a staff that actually cares and not just retired and grumpy! I’ve golfed all over the Kona coast, Born and raised in Kailua Kona and this is by far the most horrible experience I’ve encountered in the sport of golf! No ALOHA.
