Some really good, iconic artefacts in here and a nice cafe and shop

点评：I think it is hard to please everyone with museums of this type as you can't cover every country artist in depth so it means your favourite might just have one piece on display or indeed not be represented at all. However, I think they have done a fairly good job of including all the important founder musicians plus the household names. There were probably too many modern artists for me - there was one large section devoted just to one guy...that I'd never heard of! And there is now a section for Taylor Swift. But we must move with the times and entice the younger generation in for a look too, so overall I'd say it was well done.
Including the car from Smokey and the Bandit was a bit of a stretch (Jerry Reed played the trucker) but I was still delighted to see it so a good one for the populous, as was having an Elvis golden Cadillac to gawp over.
Ther is also a huge gift shop, but we warned the prices are pretty steep. However, if you're not able to shop around and have limited stops for purchases then fill your (cowboy) boots here.
There is also a cafe downstairs which does very nice hot and cold snacks. I ordered a toastie as thought that would be small and manageable but (being America) it was gigantic...and came with chips (french fries). For those with normal appetites you could order one between two of you.
