Julia Child exhibit at the Museum Center was our goal but the art deco building is a treasure.

点评：We went mostly to see the Julia Child exhibit which also included the Natural History Museum, the History Museum and the children’s Museum(which we did not go to). The Julia Child exhibit was interesting and very informative. The other two museums were worth a peek since they were included in the price of admission and enjoyable. Most of all the old Union Station building is an art deco treasure in itself with the beautiful murals. Parking cost us an additional $6 but do remember to bring your parking ticket with you and pay at the pay station inside before leaving. We went on a Friday when there were a number of school field trips. The History Museum and Natural History Museum were teeming with middle school kids so if you want a quieter experience then perhaps go on a Saturday or Sunday. We only saw one young person at the Julia Child exhibit that day. So if you are going mainly for the Julia Child exhibit then it probably doesn’t matter when you go.
