Rainbow Forest Museum的点评
点评：The Rainbow Forest Museum is at the far south end of the main PFNP park road. While its purpose is indeed evidently as a fossil museum, we found it most useful as a logistics stop before leaving the park and heading back up to I-40 to continue our journey.
There are public restrooms at the museum and a fair-sized gift shop that seemed to have a selection of about the same sorts of things as the main visitors center up on the north end.
There is also a walking trail here among petrified logs and fragments which is shorter than the trail at Crystal Forest. But your reviewer much preferred the longer trail there, since it really preserved more isolated and in-situ feeling to all the fossils than was possible here right outside the backdoor of a well-visited museum. On the other hand, the shorter trail here might be more practical for some visitors.
