点评：I love it so much here. The staff are all passionate talented and friendly people with a wealth of knowledge to share, the site itself and the surrounding countryside is beautiful, and the workshops are the stuff of dreams. We attended the one day hammer making workshop. It was bought for me as a gift because I've taken up smithing as a hobby since my first visit last summer. We were allocated the brilliant Olaf, who knows so much stuff, helped a lot, shared a lot of knowledge, but also managed to make me feel like i was also an expert at times. As we were the only people making a hammer on the day, we got 1:1 supervision which was awesome, though all the tutors are great if you need help and your allocated one is busy.
The hammer I left with is a lovely thing which I'll keep forever. I'm already planning my next visit to make another type of hammer, or a knife, or a sword, or an axe, or, well, anything really.
