点评:It's a great building, decent collection, well-hung exhibits and the staff are friendly.
I would consider their collection of fashion design world-class (not kidding) - stellar examples, and an extremely comprehensive Anna Sui show is currently up. That exhibit alone is worth the cost of admission, if you are into either clothing, or that era.
However - there is no restaurant. There used to be a restaurant, Palette, it's been closed and under renovation for more than a year. It was not earth-shaking, but it was a well-designed space with an above-average menu and the food and drinks were consistently good. That space could seat no more than say fifty patrons, so I'm disappointed that now over a year later they are still talking excitedly about Spring 2025 (I have news for for you, August 2025 is not Spring 2025), as if they're building a whole new museum. The temporary cafe they threw up screams afterthought. The people who work there are congenial and nice, but it's not a restaurant, it's grab-and-go (or grab-and-stay, in a room with the equivalent of lawn furniture, and nothing on the walls).
Sad to say: the lack of a decent restaurant amenity diminishes the museum's status and reputation.
