Poor treatment of loyal members

点评：No doubt this is a world class museum. My mother and I have had a lifetime membership since there was a membership drive years ago when the museum was in dire financial distress. We continued the membership for years, brought friends and family who purchased memberships after visiting. I called the museum when my mother passed and had the account changed to my name only. I received my Life Member card valid thru 12-31-2026. I’ve used this card and the one that was issued in my name before several times. When I sent an email to update my email address, I was told my card was no longer valid because the people that issued it were no longer there and though “he understands my frustration “ it is now inactive. This is a Life Membership IN MY NAME and the person I talked to to dispute this , I believe, was the same one I notified of my mother’s death and the needed name change. I understand that financial circumstances change and that the policy of a Life Membership may need to be updated, but to do it in the middle of a membership is classless, shameful and reeks of poor policy toward loyal members, SHAMEFUL
