点评：The City Parish Church is an awesome building in gothic style on the Bayreuth Market Square. The two square bell towers with bulbous domes are very nice. They count as the landmark of the city. They are really eye catching, as is by the way the whole church façade.
The interior is rather attractive. It's white painted with the exception of the columns, arches, pilasters, window frames and the nerves on the vaults, which are ochre painted, and so outstanding on the white walls. It's a three nave church, the central nave being wider and higher than the side aisles. They are separated from each other by robust columns which support the pointed arches typical of the gothic style. The vaults are cross ribbed ones. As one enters the temple, he is quite impressed by the first sight of so much beauty.
The high altar is great, especially the tryptic behind the mensa. This is very well adorned and the pictures it contains are rather pretty. The dark wooden pulpit is somewhat simple, but also nice.
There are likewise valuable paintings hanging on the church walls worth being watched attentively. Some ancient sandstone sculptures by some of the columns at half height of them, on their respective pedestals are also remarkable.
