点评:The dinner train reservation process is a total joke. The online system never worked every time I tried to use it so I had to call to make a reservation - that’s fine. However, I called and very directly described that I needed this to be disability friendly. This was a Christmas gift for my father who walks with a cane. I double checked that he could easily get on the train and that we needed a table with chairs - a booth will not work. Then, we take a 2 hour ride and make hotel reservations to get to the train and finally arrive and am presented with a booth table that won’t work. I let them know there is an issue and they leave the handicapped person standing (not very disability friendly) for 10-15 mins and the train getting ready to leave. And no solution in site. Are we supposed to wait for the train to leave and not have a place to sit? We go to leave the train and they said they were going to switch tables but that we could get off the train and refund our money. But you have to wonder if they really planned to fix it or not?? Totally not disability friendly no matter what they say. Not sure how they get away with not being ADA compliant. If your not ADA friendly just say so. Total waste of time - very disappointing. So much for a Christmas present…
