点评:Located in the Kipahulu section of the Haleakala National Park. This is a popular, short easy hike. Plenty of parking in the lot at the Kipahulu Visitor Center. You will need to pay the entry fee or make use of a National Park Pass. There are coastal views and a trail along the gulch past multiple scenic pools and cascading waterfalls. It is best to arrive early in the morning before it gets busy. It is nowhere near as interesting or as rewarding as the hike along the lengthy Pipiwai Trail to spectacular Waimoku Falls but that hike is moderately strenuous involving elevation change while the hiking at Ohe'o Gulch can be made by everyone and can be done in 30-40 minutes. This site is also known as The Seven Sacred Pools but there is actually nothing sacred about the setting. It was just a name made up for marketing. Nevertheless, it is beautiful.
