点评:Our visit to Namosi was all we hoped for and more. Our party of six - me, my husband, adult daughter, my nephew and niece and their teenage daughter - journeyed to the highlands in a rented SUV. Road was reasonable - steep and narrow but very navigable. Stunning scenery - steep black mountains covered in mist and forest. Our hosts, Meta and Sylvia welcomed us with open arms and joyful Bulas! We stayed in lovely thatched cottages with views to the river and mountains beyond - we hiked, swam and built a bamboo raft from scratch. We were fed tasty Fijian food for every meal and toured the nearby village and school to meet locals and their kids. Best of all was our farewell night when the villagers held a celebration in their newly-finished "Namosi Opera House" - with hearty live music, beautiful singing & dancing and a kava ceremony. Thank you all for your hospitality and sharing your way of life with us. Highly recommended for all ages.
