New boat canopy 2 year nightmare / ripoff

点评：Stay away from Euronautica. A slowmotion and sure ripoff with zero care for YOU!
I needed a new canopy for my 24ft Bayliner motorboat in Denmark and went to a big boat and autocamper place to be sure to get it done right and on time - 40km away - further than local shops.
March 31 2023 I requested a price for the new canopy. April 5 I got the quote 1750€ incl vat.
They did'nt tell me that they outsource the job to another company. Had I known the price includes profits for 2 companies, 2 x manjana slowmotion and triangle communication I would have run away.
I was told it takes 2 weeks to make it. I gave them the old canopy to cut from, choose bordeau color sample and paid the FULL amount instead of 50% first and 50% when finished, as first time I ordered somethlng from Euronautica.
BIG MISTAKE! Never pay more than 50% deposit in Spain!
April 18 when it should be finished, Rosa tell me they dont have the color choosen.
2 weeks to find this out and I was returning to Denmark where I wanted to sell the boat end of april!
Having paid already and only 12 days left, I now didnt have the obtion to go elsewhere and had to select a less desirable blue instead.
June 21 the new canopy is finished. It took 2,5 month instead of 2 weeks!
Euronautica now wanted 330€ to send the about 12kg package to Denmark.
It cost 65€ to send up to 17kg from Denmark to spain - exactly 1/5.
After being so late Euronautica gave no apologies and did'nt want to go to the post office in Calpe (where some if the staff must live) and mail it for 1/5 the price! They should have send it free of charge as it was their fault I couldnt bring it to Denmark myself.
Since the boat sales season for the short danish summer was over, I choose not to have it sent by currier. I tried but Ecocurrier could not pick it up at Euronautica due to their siesta hours!!
Does anything work in Spain?
I then picked it up myself oct 2023.
Back in Denmark may 2024, I discover that the front canopy DOES NOT FIT THE BOAT AT ALL - too small, and I still cant sell the boat without it this year either. How possible when they have the old canopy to cut and meassure from???
WORSE - Euronautica refuse to remake the much smaller and simpler front piece without extra charge!
WORSE still. Rosa charges me douple - 1200€. Its less than 1/3 the size and labour of the total canopy at 1750€. 583€ should be the max price.
I have remained polite and patient all along - only to get screwed all along.
It took 7 trips to the shop of 90km each = 630km.
I had to pay 800€ for 2 year boat storage under roof without the canopy, which would also be needed had they shipped the new canopy to Denmark.
I had to lower the boat salesprice with 4000€ due to a 2 year older boat before its sold and in failed attemt to sell without the canopy.
Now I sue Euronautica for damages pluss a total refund since the rear canopy fits poorly with about 6 straps not attachable.
