Mossman Gorge Cultural Centre的点评
点评：So we ended up here after a road trip through Port Douglas and the surrounding beaches and lookouts. It was a great drive, but beware - don't think you'll do 100kmh the whole way. It is windy! But it is also very scenic, so that works for me.
As it transpired, we could only fit in the Mossman Gorge in the day we had allotted. In hindsight, I would have allowed more time, as I would like to see the rainforest more in its natural and undeveloped setting. The gorge experience was great, with the visitor centre being decent, and the shuttle bus service the same. The walk around took an hour or so, with two of us opting for the longer loop. My boys just loved the waterhole, and that was a super feature I have seen rarely anywhere else. The setting is lovely, the forest is scenic and a sight to behold. It was just a bit busy and a bit "touristy". I understand that's why it's there, but as I mentioned, I would prefer to have included some extra time in the rainforest proper as well.
Still, I highly recommend any visit to this part of the world includes Mossman Gorge in its itinerary. A simply beautiful location.
