点评:The gorge itself is a great to visit and you do need a reasonable level of fitness and agility. The biggest letdown is the centre itself and some of the staff. There also needs some seating placed around the viewing platforms and trails. Nothing is really wheelchair friendly. My biggest complaint was we were there from 10am till 14.00 and the cafe was short on available food. The wait staff need to be reminded that an uninterested or surly attitude isn't wanted or needed. Some of them just looked like they didn't want to be there. I think it really needs some better direction as a tourist attraction. It might just be me but, I have visited New Zealand many times and attended many indigenous locations & tours. You really were encouraged to take part in the presentation, the tour and you were often felt more welcomed than just a visitor.
