Hamamatsu Museum of Musical Instruments的点评
点评:While exploring Hamamatsu, I stumbled upon the Hamamatsu Museum of Musical Instruments — and I’m so glad I did!
Hamamatsu is known as the “City of Music” because it’s home to famous companies like Yamaha and Kawai, so this museum felt like a perfect fit for the area. The building isn’t super flashy from the outside, but inside it’s packed with musical instruments from all over the world.
One of the coolest things was seeing traditional instruments from Asia, Africa, Europe, and the Americas all in one place. Some of them I had never seen in my life! There were also displays of Japanese instruments like the koto and shamisen, which were really beautiful.
My favorite part? There was a special area where you could actually try playing some instruments! It was fun (and pretty funny) trying things like a giant gong or strange wind instruments I’d never heard of.
The museum isn’t huge, but it’s well-organized and super peaceful inside. It felt like a relaxing break from the busy city. There were some English explanations, though not everywhere — but honestly, music is universal, so I didn’t feel lost at all.
If you’re a music lover or just want to see something unique in Hamamatsu, this place is totally worth a visit!
