点评:We drove the scenic Hwy 12 Utah in May. The highway scenery is amazing. I didn't think it was terribly scary or hazardous. Their are a few down hill hair pin curves but I've driven worse. The scariest part is only 1/2 mile. It has a 1000ft drop off on both sides of the road with no guard rails. Being only 1/2 mile it wasn't horrible. You do climb to one area where the altitude is 9800 ft. I might would check the road conditions in colder weather months, You do pass a gate that they close in wintry weather The road is lonely. You should have a full tank of guess and make sure your car is in good condition. When we 1st got on the Hwy at Bryce Canyon we didn't see another car for 50 minutes. Now that was at 7:00 AM . I would definitely take Hwy 12 again if traveling in Southern Utah,
