点评：The tour exceeded our expectations. Under good weather conditions, there are usually two tours per day: one in the morning at 9:30 and another in the afternoon at 13:30. Although it was a sunny and windless morning, the morning tour was not operating. The meeting point is at the port, but for an additional fee, private pickup with a small boat cabin is available. The voyage lasted about 1.5 hours, and we were fortunate enough to see curious dolphins swimming and jumping alongside the boat.
The penguin population has now declined to around 40,000 breeding pairs, down from 60,000. However, this decline is not attributed to tourism. While on the island, you are not allowed to roam freely; you must follow the guides. During the sail, the guides provide information about the area and the penguins. The penguins have the right of way, and when walking the trail, you must allow them to pass. Although you won't see the penguins up close, you will encounter various bird species. You can get quite close to the penguins, but please refrain from touching them.
The one-hour walk is sufficient to admire the island's animal residents. The cost of the tour is around $100 USD.
