点评:We have been going back to the Ristorante Enoteca Villa di Sotto for 3 years in a row now.
It has been a highlight every time to dine at this special place.
I always start my reviews with mentioning the staff and the hospitality of a place.
The family, who owns this restaurant as well as the staff has a special understanding of what hospitality means. They are warm, tending, welcoming people with so much to offer to the guests. They take very special care of getting your orders and wishes right and make sure you understand what exactly is that you are ordering.
They entertain the guests with stories of the restaurant, the venue, how the dishes were created and of course their old dog, who is just the sweetest thing ever…
(They also know, when to give you privacy)
The restaurant and the menu is created in the way that gluten and lactose intolerant people can enjoy it as much as someone without any dietary restrictions. If they know in advance they even prepare for the person.
Both nights we were there I had an amazing bruschetta selection as a starter and first I’ve tried the mixed beef ragu and the next day the wild bore ragu with gluten free rigatoni. It was heavenly.
They have mandarin and lemon sorbet as well, therefore you have the option to get a dessert even-if you cannot or would not like to eat dairy.
We ended up going back two times in a row. (Again.)
