We selected the seven course menu. Here are some of the highlights.
Starters were all great - ceviche was fresh, meatball was delicious and the olive shaped dish was tasty
Langoustine - amazing and one of my favorite dishes
Rabbit - good (I opted to trade this dish with the Squid dish from the five course menu)
Squid - flavorful and delicious
Spaghetti with cuttlefish - pasta was really good
Risotto - this dish was good but I had to save room for my filet :)
Red mullet - tasty dish as I wasn’t sure I was going to like it but it was really good. The touch of diced veggies in the broth was so delicious
Filet with shaved truffles and mushroom - amazing and cooked just as requested medium rare. Taking a bite of the filet, mushroom and truffle at the same time was divine. This was also my other favorite dish but all the dishes were just spectacular.
Chocolate - amazing dessert and it tasted like Nutella but better. The thin flake was made from hazelnut and mixed with the chocolate was amazing.
Overall, the service was exceptional. The sommelier and the server were great. Thank you so much for a wonderful experience and I’m so glad to meet the chef, Michele Raggi - he will be a Michelin rated chef one day as this dinner was Michelin worthy. Grazie, Michele!
On a side note, we also had breakfast here and it was delicious as well. The pancetta (crispy bacon) was the best I have ever had. The veggie fritata was delicious with a side of avocado.
