点评：We stayed at the pontoon as our flotilla moored here for the night. Already aware of the quality & costs involved having been here before, we walked into town for a drink & a meal on the evening. It’s a very hilly walk but you can get a taxi back later which helps. We went for breakfast the next morning to avoid any issues for the lead crew whilst having our briefing, but found the service slow & the staff rather sullen faced.
The ‘full’ breakfast at €8.50 is poor - 4 mini sausages, a couple of undercooked bacon rashers & 2 fried eggs. No bread/butter/jams & a small cappuccino at €4.50 just completes what feels like a complete rip off.
We’ve been doing this a very long time so I understand why the flots go in there, but it’s very poor value for your clients. Like many lead crew recommended restaurants, there are better elsewhere.
