点评：Stopped here on the recommendation of our hotel front desk. Turned out to be a very good recommendation.
Good atmosphere. Nice German beer hall feel (but I didn’t see the comically large mugs I recall at the Hofbräuhaus München). A minor detail but again, great ambience.
Four people, four different plates.
We ordered the pretzel as an appetizer and it was excellent. Loved the Dijon dipping and the cheese sauce, too.
Entree 1:
Fried chicken sandwich. Good taste but a tad over cooked and a bit over breaded.
Entree 2:
Beyond burger. Ordered this not knowing it was plant-based. It was described as “mid.” Good taste but not extraordinary.
Entree 3:
Steak frites. The skirt steak was perfectly cooked to “medium.” Taste was excellent. The “frites” were better than good.
Entree 4:
Cougar Gold mac and cheese. This was delicious and ordered it with the pork belly, which made it even better. The crunch from the breadcrumbs
The service was friendly but a bit slow. We understand during a very busy time, but the place was about half-full. Would give 4.5 stars but not the full 5.
Would we eat here again? Yes. You should, too.
