点评:On my way back from visiting family in north Texas I am usually n a hurry to get back home. But this time I saw a billboard advertising a place called Eagle's Landing. The name itself was what pulled me in. (i once was tasked to give a name to a fellow resident's fabricated bar in a dorm room at the top of a residence hall in college and gave him that name for it.)
This place has a good atmosphere and some fairly enticing menu items. It had been a long time since I had a good old-fashioned hand breaded chicken fried steak so I opted for that, but the next time I stop (which I will on my way back from north Texas next vacation), I want to try one of the other menu items that peaked my interest.
My waitress was very good and made sure to check up on me quite often. It seems like these small town places have a much better idea how to be friendly and attentive than, say, some place in Metropolis (I won't mention any big cities by name, but I have had a few non-chain restaurants where the service was minimal).
If you happen to be driving by when the hunger bug hits you, give this place a shot.
