Mamgu Welshcakes St Davids的点评
点评：What an excellent Café to seek safe harbour in when it was so squally, windy, & rainy in St David's on half term Tues in May. Friendly & cheerful staff members offered good service. The variety of Welsh cakes on offer was most wide ranging. As my friend & I were very hungry - I tried the La Mexicana - 4 savoury (with leeks & cheese) Welsh cakes topped with a piquant 3 bean chili, generously blanketed with cheese & served with sour cream & a delicious fresh salad on the side. It was filling, scrumptious & just what i needed on a very cold rainy-eindy day. My friend had the Welsh rarebit - again excellent. I tried the cinnamon Welsh cakes served churros style with a ramekin of hot chocolate sauce (good dark chocolate of course) - again v good. There are also delicious looking sandwiches, quiche, sausage rolls etc. There's good coffee & excellent cold tap water on tap so to speak. And then I suggest looking round the awe-inspiring cathedral. A lovely way to spend a morning or afternoon in St David's.
